You seem impressed but I was curious if you meant he played faster or slower than the reported time? You seemed impressed by his film but seeing as 4.49 is a pretty good time I guess I assumed he didn't look as fast on film. Though that would be counter intuitive to the rest of the description.

IMO, he plays faster than a 4.5.

I'd estimate he's being recruited most likely as a CB. Possible safety but he'll have to pack on the pounds quite a bit, have to be bigger and able to support the run in our system which for him might be tough. But as a CB, he's got the size, speed and hips to make an easy transition.

I like Hardy alot...I would expect an offer to come fairly soon. He has the size and speed, but he is more than willing to play physical and stop the run. Personally, I like him as a free safety.

Notre Dame & Minnesota have offered... Previous offers include Cincy, Colorado, Indiana, Maryland, & W. Virginia... He was invited but unable to attend the UA and Army combines... He's working on setting up junior day visits now...

By D-Biddy...no favorites yet but has offers from ND, Maryland, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Colorado, Indiana and Minnesota...grew up an OSU fan and has been to a junior day and basketball game...hopes OSU eventually offers.

Would not surprise me to see OSU offer...yes, they are targeting some major national/Florida talent, but I think Hardy is too good to let slip out of state...eventhough he says OSU is looking at him as a corner I see him as a playmaking free safety at the next level. He reminds me a bit of Nate Salley at that age and they are similar size. Salley came in around 6-1 190 and left OSU as a 220 lb machine. Hardy is around 6-1 180 right now and has been timed under 4.5 seconds in the forty.
