OH ATH Eilar Hardy (Notre Dame Signee; transfer to Bowling Green)

Rivals $ - Irish up next for Hardy
Steve Hare of IrishIllustrated.com, March 9, 2010

Visited Kentucky last weekend & was impressed by the fan support at the basketball game as well as the campus in general... Talks to the ND staff nearly every week & receives letters from them nearly every day... Hopes to shorten his list by the end of Summer... No leader, no time table...

Andrew Force of BearcatReport.com, March 13, 2010

Picked up 3 more offers this week (check 1st post)... Would like to visit each offering school at least once if possible... Has an offer from each BCS conference except for the ACC... Visits Notre Dame next weekend... No leader, no time table...

No worries...there are so many Tressels out there it is tough to keep track.

FYI, the only way I see Hardy getting offered is if by some divine intervention Ron Tanner ends up elsewhere...and that just isn't going to happen.

I hate passing on him...I understand we are in on some big time talent...but Hardy is a kid that has hips to play cb at the next level...has plenty of big time offers, and right in our backyard...

I totally agree, and it sucks that we might probably miss out on this kid, and most other years a kid like this would be one of our first offers. I still think there's a chance he gets an offer if we strike out on the guys from FL(Gorman and Lyons).
