IMO your understand is spot on since he got his offer. The answer to your question is conjecture by we posters, but the circumstances seem to point that way. Some "in the know" guys like Birm quote Hancock saying the Bucks aren't giving up on recruiting him even after his pledge to Dabo, so time will tell. Hope JK Johnson didn't fall under that same spell.
