Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy Orange defensive end Zach Harrison, a physical freak, also earns an early high four-star ranking. He has length, burst and is just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential.

“This is the Midwest prospect we gave the strongest early five-star consideration to, but we want to see a little more skill refinement first,” Rivals.com Midwest Recruiting Analyst Josh Helmholdt said. “The physical tools are off the charts, though, and Harrison has all the makings of a dominant pass-rushing defensive end. He has early offers from Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State and others.”

I just meant he was a big time talent in our backyard much like Cooper...I think he can definitely get to that level and be the same sort of 5 star talent that Cooper was as a senior. I would imagine we have a great shot to land him but it is extremely early and Zach will have offers from everyone.

From the latest reports it appears the kid has major potential. Here's hoping he lets the best line coach in America help him develop that into first round talent. Testimony, not theory.

"I would say Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame are some schools that are sticking out to me at this time," Harrison stated. "With Ohio State, Like them a lot and they are telling me they want me really bad."

"I visited Michigan a few days ago, and really liked it a lot," he added. "They are alike in a lot of ways, yet also different in a few ways. I also visited Michigan State and really liked it, because I think a lot of Coach (Mark) Dantonio."

"Honestly, I'm not really focused on recruiting right now all that much," he admitted. "I'm more focused on my grades and my high school football career. If I do what I'm supposed to do, all this stuff will take care of itself."
