LB Dallas Gant (transfer to Toledo)

Gant is TAKE, and a "first option", Peters doesn't even have an offer, and there are several others ahead of him in the perceived pecking order.
Yes, I understand that...I think I worded my question wrong. I meant if Gant were to go elsewhere, would Peters then get an offer? I would hope he gets an offer regardless but with Ohio State darn near getting every one of their top options, it seems a forgone conclusion. Maybe not though.

With that said, I am pumped that we seem to be closing the deal on Gant!

D line and secondary are stockpiling talent at an insane level to the degree that backer is actually considered the weakest of the 3 units, even after getting browning last year.

Now follow that up with Gant + Mitchell is an actual possibility, and this is what we should all be doing:

Werner is also no slouch either...
So much LB talent and they're the "weak link"

Gant said there really isn’t anything any of the coaches can say at this point to change his thinking.

“I’m pretty set – I’m just waiting to announce,” Gant said. “I highly doubt anything will change. It was pretty hard trying to make the decision, but I think I made the best one.”

Bucknuts asked Gant to discuss what impressed him about each of the five schools.

Notre Dame: “They are kind of like my school. They have great tradition. The new defensive coordinator I think is doing a great job. I think that will really help them.”

Michigan: “They came kind of late to my recruiting. But I like coach Harbaugh a ton. When I went there I liked the place a lot. The academics are outstanding.”

Michigan State: “Michigan State has always been my dream school. I watched them most of my high school career. I have a great relationship with the coaches. Coach Dantonio is a great coach. I watch Michigan State all the time.”

Ohio State: “I like their ability to win. They produce great football players and with ‘Real Life Wednesday’s’ they are pretty successful. My parents like that.”

Penn State: “My first visit I didn’t expect too much. But they have great players and great coaches. I really liked that place. They just grew on me.”
