Didn’t Mike DeAndrea come out of Ironton?
From Ironton (area)...

Jerry Fields, LB, Coal Grove. Drafted by the New York Titans of the AFL in 1961.

Kenny Fritz, OL, Ironton. First team All American, 1979. Drafted by the Steelers.

Walt Delong, OL, Ironton. Highly touted. Left Ohio State after about one quarter.

Jermon Jackson, RB, Ironton. Scored several touchdowns against in one game. Never quite lived up to expectations, but I think he did graduate.

Tyler "Tank" Whaley, OL, Ironton. Currently a walk on. One of the stronger players on the team. Got some PT in 2005.

Aaron Pettrey, K, Raceland, KY. Trying to win a starting spot with the Buckeyes.

Oh yeah...Redgie Arden.
I can't top that list. Now back to Reid Carrico....
