OH LB/TE Michael Ferns (Michigan signee; transfer to WVU)

While I agree with you and would love Ferns, I thought the feeling from this was Ferns preferred the "family like environment" that scUM was selling, versus the all business mentality at OSU. Nonetheless he'd be a huge get, there are a lot of big 2014 LB candidates.

Not sure about the family environment/business mentality aspect, but I know some of the Bucknuts guys were saying that Ferns preferred small towns and probably preferred Ann Arbor to Columbus.

I'm glad to hear that the coaches haven't given up yet. It sounds like Ferns is a high character guy, which would make it that much harder to seem him go to TSUN.

Love to see that we are keeping the pressure on. Even if Ferns sticks with scUM, I love that we are going to force Hoke to fight to keep any recruit we want from Ohio.

Guess what, we got 9 guys who better go do it again," said Meyer. "Do it a little harder next time."
In terms of small town environment .... I think I heard someone say that cows graze on High Street in Cow Town? Also, would anyone want to play in the Big House when they could play in the nice little old 'shoe?

I think I heard somewhere that there once was a women who lived in the 'Shoe. tSUN was so annoying, she didn't know what to do. She gave those blue boys some broth without any bread. And whipped their butts soundly and sent them back North instead.

Never heard about a women living in the Big House.

Understand your concern, but WVU will likely be the next open seat. Dana isn't exactly killing it down there. Also, let's not kid ourselves... WVU and OSU are not comparable at this point. I think his brother is a buckeye fan through and through, and the fact that he wouldn't play against his brother might actually help the buckeyes here.

So Dana Homyhairisbad will be going to scUM?

I heard that from someone who should know as well.

Must be true.
