OL Josh Myers (2nd Team All American, Green Bay Packers)

Stating the obvious here but he actually missed the point unless I misunderstood RB07. RB was comparing them as high school prospects. Boone and Adams were big time HS prospects just like Myers, so yes, they are in that discussion for best since Pace. I think we're all fully aware they didn't turn out to have the same success as Pace, though they did have some.
All very true, but comparing any HS OL to Orlando Pace inevitably has a large component of wishful thinking attached to it.

Pace was not just a skilled technician by the time he entered tOSU, he was a once-in-a-lifetime athlete who happened to be housed in a 6-8, 300-lb body.

Yeah I was only talking Ohio kids but on a global level, I still think Myers is pretty unprecedented since Adams. College career aside (which was pretty good for Mike in all reality), Adams had an enormous skill set in HS. That being said, I think Josh is the best I have seen since I have followed recruiting. Not only a high ceiling, but the floor is about as high as you can get.

If he's so highly rated, its interesting that 11W mentioned in their hurry up that Myers could switch to Guard in college. I figured he was a future LT

I respect their opinion but it will not happen. I get their comment that he is strong and versatile enough to dominate the interior and that he could play any position on the OL. But he is going to be an LT because he is extremely athletic, dominant one-on-one, and has the length to play the position. Myers is just light-years ahead of everyone else right now.

Michael Munoz?

Ahh, I see what you did there  I remember that recruitment unfortunately.

Although my first big recruit I followed was probably Michael D'Andrea, I can say the best OL prospect from a high school film I have watched in Ohio is Josh Myers. Boone, Justin Boren, Adams, etc. were all good prospects, but Myers is a pretty rare talent and shows no weakness. I just think he has the talent, the strength, the freakish ability, and the drive to become one of the best we have seen here. I know most people don't get all excited over OL commits, but this commit is by far the most important in '17 in my books.

@BUCKYLE will verify that on top of already being talented, Ohio kids have special talents.

A little bit shorter version of Tony Mandarich. Hope he doesnt eat that much though!

Of course, this is all just fun comparisons, but I've never seen a kid work as hard as he does and already be the best around. Coach Channell got a once in a lifetime player with Myers.
