Anderson HS (Cincinnati, OH)
Ht: 6'3"
Wt: 270 lbs
Class: 2019

Same school as Andrew Norwell. Excited to watch him play next fall - we live in the same school district.

"I was offered by Ohio State and I'm pretty excited to have it," Correll stated. "I've been talking with Coach (Kerry) Coombs every week, and he was the one that set up the call with Urban Meyer on Thursday."

"Coach Meyer was the one who gave me the offer, and even though I kind of knew it was coming, it still was amazing," he added. "This is one of the top football programs in the country, and it's also a great academic school, so this is big to me."

"I told Coach Meyer how much I appreciated the offer, and he told me how much he likes me and my family," he continued. "Coach Meyer also told me that I deserved this offer, and that means a lot to me."
"It's way too soon for me to be making any kind of decision yet," Correll explained. "I want to take a lot of visits, and see more schools before I make any kind of commitment."

"I really want to get the full recruiting experience first, and I need to see more schools," he said. "I really don't want to name a favorite list at all."

"I will be back at Ohio State on June 13 to work with Coach Stud (offensive line coach Greg Studrawa), and it will be good to see his coaching style."

Ohio State will once again welcome Cincinnati 2019 offensive lineman Zeke Correll for a visit this weekend.

It’s been a wild week for the in-state junior. Last Friday was Sept. 1, meaning that college coaches across America were able to unleash messages and mailers on all of the nation’s top 2019 prospects.

“It was a little wild,” Correll said of the onslaught. “I was getting a bunch of texts at midnight, the night before a game. I am not sure how many schools messaged. Probably more than 20.

“The craziest thing was getting the mail the next day.”

A Kentucky legacy, Correll has made repeated trips to Ohio State this year. The Buckeyes have already offered. Now they’re putting their interest on paper. A lot of paper.

“I had 17 envelopes from Ohio State,” Correll said, laughing. “Wild.”

Would like to see us lock Zeke down fairly early. We'll need depth in the interior (across the whole OL really) in '19. Off to an awesome start with Nester at tackle and it looks really good for 5* tackle Darnell Wright. If that goes down, I feel very comfortable with Myers/Munford ('17), NPF/Wray ('18) and theoretically Nester/Wright ('19) at tackle. Some of those guys can definitely slide down to guard, but my point is it frees us up to take guys that are purely interior OL and I think Correll fits that bill nicely. I know the OSU offer is all that matters if it is an OFFER, but he also has offers from Clemson, PSU, ND, Stanford, scUM...kid can clearly play and I love me some Ohio interior OL (looking for the Computer Buck emoji but can't find it).
