Danny Clark (QB Kentucky Wildcats, transfer to Vanderbilt)

Respectable way to handle things. I cannot begin to imagine how he must feel. As an adult, I guess, we have all had expectations that didn't meet reality and hopes dashed... sad that I should happen for anyone so young. With that, he was far more gracious than I would have ever been at his age.

Testimate to him and his parents. Don't end up in Maze and bruise and you'll have a fan for life in me.

It'd be cool if he went to Pitt w/Sibley

That would be cool. I'd like to see that and have them tear up the ACC. If Pitt could land those two plus maybe Lamont Wade who they have a shot at, they could really make some noise in a few years.
They could beat Penn State together in 17 and 18!

Love this kid.. but when you're staring at
JT
Burrow
Haskins
Martell
Jones

pretty daunting

Frankly, if that group commits, signs and stays through the point at which they graduate or move on to the next level, it will be something just barely short of amazing.

There is more talent in that QB group than the collective talent in the QB room in the entire '80s.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Kentucky, like 247 is suggesting. Mark Stoops has been recruiting Ohio hard the last few years....there's gonna be lots of Ohio talent to go around with the national recruiting Urban is pulling off. Things worked out fine for Trubisky, for instance.

Heck, would hope that ALL Ahians would root for Danny (except maybe if he straps it on against tOSU). But maybe even then. Always root for Ahia kids, makes the Ohio brand stronger. As most everyone above as noted, he made a mature decision, putting aside his scarlet-tinted glasses, and assessing his strengths versus what Urban & Co are looking for. Gotta be the kid's hardest decision in life, 'specially given that playing for the Buckeyes was his greatest ambition (like mine was, but didn't have the skill set to play football). Wonder if it was his Dad, uncle, or coach that had him sit down and do the plusses and minuses worksheet....glad it wasn't me. I'd really like him to go to UK and tear a new orifice into Alabama, Florida, Tennecheat, and Free Shoes U. Certainly better than sitting on tOSU pine, and watching others pass you by, not because of talent, but because of the mobility vs pocket passer thing. Go Bucks
