But do they go after him early, risk a commit and possibly lose out on a White or Washington Or another OOS kid?
Waiting to offer a couple months after a good camp I don't think would be considered early. You and I are on the same page on this. Being an in-state kid you run that risk with the early offer. And we're in on some great OOS kids. I'm saying in general I hope we have room and he earns an offer.

Best combination of power and speed for an in-state RB since Beanie Wells, IMHO. Beanie was on a different level than Tavion, but nonetheless, very impressive film. Glad the staff is doing their due diligence with Tavion before sending an OFFER his way, but seeing Georgia and Alabama offer says all I need to hear about him talent-wise

Anyone know anything about his track times? I saw some comments on 11w about him having a personal best of 10.5 in the 100, which if true, is flat out flying. For comparison, Beanie was the same size in HS and ran around 11. Crazy if true.

His highlight tape is impressive. I'd take a long look at him. Hopefully he camps, because I think he could get an offer.
I really like his tape, REALLY like it! But just worry about the competition that he plays, they're just not that good tbh. And I also want to see what he can do at a camp when everyone now knows his name. He had a year of anonymity, and now he's that guy in Dayton football, it can be a different story when they know you're coming. But he's very talented and someone who could be intriguing in this 2018 class.

Another RB comparison I'd throw out there is Todd Gurley. Same upright running style and vicious runner. Not on the same level as Beenie and Todd but similar styles

Same hereon the competition. The running style I saw in that first clip was more Eddie George than Beanie Wells imo. No decapitating stiff arms just a big dude running upright with high knees that little guys can't catch.
