Are the WR's not getting open or is Pryor just not seeing them?

Fwhat?!

22 for 29, two were underthrown to Sanzo, two were picks where he not only locked in on the post route, but also pump faked into it, there was one that was high over the middle, one OOB that I remember, I don't remember where the 7th incompletion was, but Pryor was pretty sharp most of the day and the receivers were open often.

One was dead on target to Saine that flew right through his hands.

Threw a 50 yard pass into double coverage.

I don't quite understand the play call, but it is what it is....

I can remember Tressel encouraging Tood Boeckman to throw deep into coverage when it's third and a bunch, because it's a 50-50 your guy is gonna come down with it and it is sometimes better than a punt, and.... the punt is the most beautiful play in football!!!

But seriously, I think the coaching staff has always thought if you're gonna throw a risky pass, make it a deep deep pass, and not one out in the flats that is gonna turn into a pick 6.

Of course.... Todd didn't run like Terrelle... so I can't excuse either of his long interceptions. Maybe he just wanted to get that "no picks no turnover" monkey off his back!!!

anyway, I thought the game was fine. Showed a couple new things, like the pump to the right and then the handoff to the slot guy or the WR I can't remember which coming around... we also had Pryor lining up at WR and the "wildcat" run with Boom, but it was more like a mild cat.

Last week we saw the shovel pass, so.... I love to see these new things.

I am still waiting for the quick snap, TP straight ahead. And I'd like to see the pitch out, then throw back to Terrelle.

I thought the play calling today was better, too.

Last comment: I've been reading so many people's comments about Saine being a wimpy runner... I watched the Rose Bowl last night. Go back and watch it and tell me Saine is a wimp. 4th and 1 against Oregon, who did they go to? Zoom got about 4 and a half.

Good day today, folks. The bad news: EMU is so...... much worse than Ohio. They're on a 14 game losing streak and their coach is a waste of space.

How do you get up for a game like that? I mean, they'd beat Meatchicken, but... they won't give the Buckeyes much of a fight.

Go Bucks! 13 and Oh!

This team is loaded but my God, what the hell is going on with special teams? That's the only thing I see standing in the way on an NC.

Pryor only made those 2 bad int's with a huge lead. He knows not to do that kind of stuff in a tight ball game. He's still a beast. 16 straight completions is amazing.

I would like to see Saine get his carries reduced to about 5-7 a game. He simply takes way too long getting upfield. Herron is better at that but Hall is the best. I would like to see him get most of the touches but obviously that won't happen barring injury. I like Saine but he offers the most as a receiver.

I was at the game and only really the first pass was a bad decision. He was open for a bit but he threw that way late. The second was a bad throw he had Posey open long their and under threw him if not it was 6. Oh and the other incompletion was probably the one he left short on the crossing route to Posey that his brother managed to break up.

The color commentator for the BTN was a freaking downer today. Hell, at the end of the game, he said, "The Buckeyes are 3-0, but with an asterisk." What the hell? He spent the whole game complaining about the Buckeyes even though they were scoring every possession.

Yea Chris Martin isn't it? Not the one from Coldplay.

He's ok. He is just saying what I'm sure Tressel would be saying. I don't mind it as I'm always thinking of the negatives as well.

But to say 3-0 with an asterick is just silly.

that guy was a friggin retard.

Maybe he was going for the Mark May award or something. Half of his "analysis" wasn't anything that a 6 year old could communicate.

No, he sucks, which is why he was on the BTN C team...

I like that Tress seems to be working on all kinds of wrinkles. But the wildcat with Boom just seems silly. I mean TP is a much better wildcat than Boom. Why even bother? Maybe if you put a guy like Philly Brown back there or Berry, but Boom? Just doesn't seem like that one will be too successful.
