Ohio High School Playoffs 2016 (Official Thread)

When I went to New Albany it was a Divison 4 school. Now it's all the way up to Division 2! That is crazy it's grown that much. Also, my last two years of HS we didn't win a single football game..... Glad to see they've turned it around

D1 - Colerain
D2 - La Salle
D3 - Toledo Central Catholic (sorry Hoban, I wanted to pick you but I can't!)
D4 - Clinton-Massie
D5 - Coldwater
D6 - Marion Local
D7 - McComb

Love, love, love this time of year and this year I don't feel like there are any no doubters, Coldwater would probably be the closest to it. If I had to pick one as the most interesting, it's D3....over 8 legit threats there.

5 of 7 remaining....although really felt confident with my Colerain pick, but I have to think now Ignatius is a huge D1 favorite.

D3's semi's look phenomenal, as expected. Hoban vs. De Sales, Toledo CC vs. Trotwood....anyone could win!

Oh....and D4 and D5 look almost as good. Sheesh.....a fun weekend ahead for sure! If only the B1G would realize they don't need Friday night games....

I wonder if there is something, where they are forced to move back up to D1 if they become too dominant.

Could happen next year or two when they change - D1 now is based on a 627 male enrollment or more, La Salle is listed as having 684 this year so I'm not sure if there was a big bump in enrollment this last year, or if they cut D1 at 72 and some schools had more than 627 but they wanted to keep D1 at 72.

*OHSAA listed La Salle's 'revised' enrollment for 2015 as 522 somehow.....not sure what goes into their 'revised' calculation though, I'm sure that part is a secret!
