Head Coach
Well as most of ya'll know the upcoming year will be my first year at OSU! Well a quick story that I thought was awesome and I think most of ya'll can relate to this. I was at OSU's orientation last weekend, and when we showed up the stadium was locked and I didn't really think much about trying to get in to see the field etc.. I went through orientation, signed up for classes, and got my BUCKID and the day was winding to a close.... However on the way to the car to leave it was raining so we huged close to the stadium to protect from the rain, and I didn't even notice from having my head down to avoid the rain when my mom started veering into the stadium! I guess they were delievering some pop into the stadium or something because the gates were open. Well I wasn't going to leave without a quick view of the field (although I'd already been there). So we walk in you know and look at the field, and I didn't think of it but I guess my mom did.. She just says "get on the field!" well I didn't have to be told twice thats for sure. So I walk down to the steps that go down the OSU players sideline and walked out onto the field.

SO there I was at midfield with no one in the stadium but my mom/grandma in the stands. What struck me at first was just how tall and how small it made me feel! Looking up at hte score board was another thing that just I thought was insane... Infact I even did a little half assed run from midfield into the closed endzone to just picture what it would be like to actually be playing infront of that many people! I tell you I don't know how some of those players can play that well with so many eyes watching on. Just a crazy event and I thoguht i'd share it with you guys! GO BUCKS!

Living in Minnesota/Virginia for the last 7 years total and living no where near columbus while I was in Ohio for 15 years I've never got to really see the stadium/school as I did last weekend. Sure I went to the Texas game in 05, and the Cinncinatti game in 04' but I also want to tell you how great it feels to be going to the school that I love! I'm so use to being the only buckeye fan around (or atleast one of the few) so seeing everyone decked out in OSU gear and saying "OH" or "IO" was just crazy. Walking around campus at times the way the weather was It seemed liek I never left minnesota but at one point it hit me "I'm walking right through THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY" and its the greatest feeling ever guys! Can't wait to get to school as well as get to see some games! ESPECIALLY MICHIGAN!

I have a lot of stories in Ohio Stadium, from cheering there and all, but my most recent was kinda cool. It was open, on the day my fiancee, and I took our engagement pictures (gay). So we go in and take all these cool pictures, and stuff, and theres this guy there whos writing abook on Ohio Stadium. He thought it was the coolest thing that I cheered there, and she cheered there, and actually interviewed us for the book. If/when we're in it, ill let ya'll know!!

Ive been to the Swamp, Ive been to Neyland, Ive been to Doak, Ive been to the Rose Bowl, Ive been to the shit house, Ive been to Beaver, Ive been to the Superdome, Ive been to Sun Devil Stadium, and many others..........Nothing compares to the 'Shoe!

It was insane and I'll leave it at that haha... I started thinking of when I played football in high school how sometimes playing infront of 1,000 people was huge to me ya know? haha I just couldn't get through my head how kids younger than me play infront of 105k! What an awesome time!

The stadium is open during the year in the afternoon during the week, there's a few gates that are open, I can't remember which ones exactly, but you can go in there. This upcoming year I'll be a senior and I'll definitely be going down onto the field and throwing the football and taking pictures. I'm pumped.

When is during the year? As far as I know, that's pretty much every day. :tongue2:
