Game Thread Ohio State 24, Michigan State 17 (final)

I'd be more concerned on the mental lapses if their was a pattern of it. To me it just happens sometimes and glad to get it out of the way and not cost us a game. Also the 2nd TD may have been a blown blocking call but give MSU some credit, they forced that TO more than we gave it up imo. The first one was a classic mental mistake by TB.

I also really like the way we got some real under mental pressure/close game/nut cutting time work in but in such "safe" circumstances. They needed to taste some adversity, they did, we won but as every other game this year it shouldn't be hard for the staff to have the kids attention to the fact we can get a lot better.

That has been the MO all year and I'm fine with seeing it keep on rolling.

Yes and no on the turnovers. There was a clear fumble by Michigan State that OSU recovered. The officials blew the call and declared the player down by contact when he was still standing up when he fumbled the ball. This play was deep in Michigan State territory.

I'm sure this has been said, but this game wasn't even nearly as close as the score indicated. It's not good to have bad turnovers, especially for TDs. But, once again, better this week than next week on the road in a hostile environment.

Todd"the Mad Bomber", had an early warning when the first screen pass
was nearly picked, that should have alerted him for the second possibility.
He didn't learn his lessen and just stopped thinking in the third quarter.
Hopefully, he will learn from this and will not force a pass into coverage in that situation again.
The whole offense lost focus in the third quarter. Youth?
They will be focused next week!

haha oh trust me I think all us know how this game wasn't even a contest. The crazy part about this is MARK MAY. Last night I was expecting the same "oh they barely beat MSU" but he actually said what I was thinking "If not for 2 turnovers this was a route, and it wasn't as close as it looked".... The media knows this game was a ass whippin, we know its an ass whippin, and most importantly MSU knows it was an ass whippin....

I absolutely love it. We are so far under this guy's skin, it's hilarious. Him and his cohorts, who will circle jerk together should the Buckeyes stumble down the stretch. Just remember, if we weren't good, it would be irrelevant. We are winning games. 8-0 is a beautiful thing.

[sarcasm]70-14 is a decent start to a career as a coach in the B10, I just can't figure out why the NFL keeps drafting B10 players. The league is embarrasingly bad in every tangible category, and even worse yet, slow because of it's midwestern location.[/sarcasm]

If we lose, we give every dipshit with a microphone the justification to tell us how easy we had it the first 8 games.

If we keep winning, we keep getting hate in these precious opinion articles. Every win we get is going to spur another great article. Just enjoy them guys.

"Those teams, as well as USC - this would be the increasingly healthy USC team, with offensive linemen returning to the lineup and the speed that created the 60-minute mismatch with Notre Dame on Saturday - are just too fast for the Buckeyes."

We must have the slowest players in D1A to be slower than a southern cal team that lost to a powerhouse like stanford, at home no less. But they dominated ND well well well they beat a great ND team too.

I love a-holes like this giving our bucks some bulletin board material.

I Love It!!!!:oh:

Sometimes, it is good to be the bad guy. We are the bad guy since, unlike almost everyone else in the nation, we didn't decide to get upset by random teams. If all the SEC coaches were to spend as much time preparing for games as they do complaining about us, maybe they would still have an undefeated team.
