Just for the record, the rule not to have conference games at night after October is not a new rule. It just hasn't been brought up prior because a game like this hasn't occured. Remember The Game in 2006 was at 3:30 for the same reason although everyone (excluding traditionalists) wanted it in primetime.

Huh. So it was.

I would have sworn it was a night game. I remember it being dark when I listened to the missed FG to end it. And I don't remember watching the first half. Very strange. Thanks for the correction!

come on now we won a game at a tough venue when our starting qb was knocked out of the game. Whats not to be proud of?

HV has always been a bit of a beehive for us since PSU joined imo.

1995 OSU had the better team and struggled mightily for close W
1997 OSU better team lost
1999 OSU far worse and got drilled
2001 OSU better team and spit the bit
2003 OSU far better and struggled mightily for close W
2005 Even and close L
2007 OSU stright murderd that ass :)

We haven't been as bad in HV as they have been in C'bus but its always been tough. This year won't be any different imo.

Wasn't PSU a pretty damn good team that year? I seem to recall them being #1 for a portion of that season w/ Enis as a focal point of their offense before faltering late. I could be wrong, that was a long time ago...

The 27 straight points, near 600 yds of offense and blown late 3rd quarter lead made it feel like we gave that one away to me.

Couldn't stop the run for shit or we crush them...very much like the 1995 scUM game and 2001 PSU game to me.

Don't forget the 1994 63-14 apefucking they gave us there. I'd love to see Tressel ass-ram Paterno like that once before JoePa fucking croaks...

Between the hatred between fans, consistently competitive games, big moments and visibility (4 straight trips from College Gameday)... it's a rivalry.

94 - Annihilation by PSU.
95 - A classic; comeback by Hoying to win late.
97 - Enis & PSU rush from behind in Cbus

There's quite a bit of tradition in this decade alone:
00 - Taliferro paralyzed, surgery & bond formed with OSU
01 - Incredible comeback by PSU
02 - Loudest ever in shoe? D scores only TD.
03 - Hartsock bounce catch
05 - The Rail
06 - The Heisman Moment
08 - Frosh mistake by PA's biggest recruit ever leads to PSU win
