Game Thread Ohio State 37, Penn State 17 (final)

Is it just me our were you hoping when the dude ran up to the OSU fan he would have cold-cocked that di** weasel square in the face... I know he was smart not to in that situation, but still........

Penn State = Classless!!

"Are we an elite program anymore? Were we ever, or was it a quirk of circumstances and independent status in scheduling that gave that appearance? Would Joe Paterno have built the Beaver Stadium we see today had he coached in the Big Ten since 1966?"
Answer to both no. We have always dome well with what we have and will continue to do so. To be elite you must cheat and we just don't do that. Be proud of what we have done and what we are doing. The elites come and go we are a constant.

That is the biggest load of crap I've read in a long time. God, I hate state penn fans. "Constant"? Constantly what? :roll1:

Funny I don't see this getting airplay all over the US and PSU getting trashed by the national media. Nor do I see Penn State's President falling all over himself to apologize to the world and Ohio State for the actions of a select few drunk fucktards from this passed weekend.

Morelli continues to make dumb plays, and was lucky his fumble was recovered. He was not so fortunate on his pick six later in the game. Who was he throwing to? If the receiver ran the wrong route, why was the defender not following the receiver? If he was following Morelli's eyes, just what was he looking at? Tressel? He has now thrown only three touchdowns against Ohio State--and all three were INTs and TDs for Ohio State.

And it got me thinking ... we'd had some difficulty in previous games handling Larry Johnson, or Michael Robinson, or Tony Hunt, but covering their receivers hasn't been an issue since JT has been at the helm.

Here are the TD passes PSU QBs have thrown vs OSU in the JT-era:

2007 | Anthony Morelli 24-yard TD pass to Malcolm Jenkins
2006 | Anthony Morelli 61-yard TD pass to Malcolm Jenkins
2006 | Anthony Morelli 55-yard TD pass to Antonio Smith
2004 | Michael Robinson 24-yard TD pass to Tyler Everett
2003 | Zack Mills 2-yard TD pass to Sean McHugh
2002 | Zack Mills 40-yard TD pass to Chris Gamble
2001 | Zack Mills 45-yard TD pass to Derek Ross
2001 | Zack Mills 26-yard TD pass to Tony Johnson
2001 | Zack Mills 14-yard TD pass to Eric McCoo

By my count, that's 2 TD passes thrown to PSU WRs, 1 TD pass thrown to a PSU RB, and 6 TD passes thrown to OSU DBs. :p
