Game Thread Ohio State 43, Youngstown St. 0 (Aug. 30)

I really like the versatility we have on offense this year.

The team consists of two offenses: Pro-style Boeckman and Spread Pryor. They each cause problems for opposing defenses in their own ways.
-The Pro-style Boeckman offense is an improved version of the offense from last year. It spreads the defense out vertically. Opposing defenses want to stay at the line of scrimmage to stop Beanie, and yet they want to play back to stop Boeckman's long ball.
-The Spread Pryor offense is much more "modern", or whatever the media wants to call the spread nowadays to make it sound hip, cool, and sexy for younger audiences. Pryor spreads the field out horizantally, leaving many small openings everywhere on the field. This allows for Pryor to unload to Saine, MoWells, Thomas, Posey, Small, or any other weapon on the field. Pryor is also able to take off. The option pitches to Saine were excellent and efficient. Pryor is truly able to elevate the games of Brandon Saine and Maurice Wells. As time goes on, he will be able to elevate the game of everyone on the field.

I think we need both types of offenses. I don't know if we can afford the pro style with too many predictable long balls in the game. Use the spread, makes shorter gains with more WRs and RBs. That will win 12 more games.
