Ohio State at Iowa, Thursday, 7 PM, ESPNU

They avoided that awful OOC loss this year.....which helps even with lack of a "marquee" win

Rutgers is the worst possible loss remaining.....they sit at 127 in kenpoms rankings right now. Avoid losing any of the 2 games against them and they will be in decent shape if they finish accordingly.
Wholeheartedly agree but that Butler loss still stings.

The way Robbie Hummel did his "color analysis" last night you would have thought that Ohio State was responsible for both his torn ACL's when he played at Purdue. Someone needs to tell him it was not Ohio State's fault.

The play-by-play guy was just terrible. He must drive a tractor or work with a combine when he is not trying to do basketball games.

The only issue is that unless we beat MSU or Purdue we won't have any wins over a ranked opponent
Not many teams are going to beat MSU or Purdue this season so I do not think that this matters a whole lot with regard to our wins and losses. Just do not even count the probable loss to MSU and I think we have a pretty good shot at Purdue. I do not think they are that special.

We need to spend less time on our free-throw shooting(I think that has been corrected) this season and more time on learning how to play against full-court press defenses. We need to get this corrected quickly because if we do not I see another Butler game down the road. Someone needs to tell the player taking the ball out of bounds that you are allowed to move on the baseline after a made free-throw and guys need to remember not to leave him all alone in the backcourt. I think throwing the ball over the press might be something to look at but I will rely on Coach Ho1tmann's expertise to get this situation straightened out.
