Game Thread Ohio State at Michigan State, 11/19/16, 12p ET ESPN/WatchESPN

Other than Noah Brown who should be in?

I'd have Brown & Hill on the outside and Dontre in the slot. I admit it's hard for me to say b/c I'm not in practice and we have like 7 receivers who get one pass a game so I can't say who's best with any authority. But I just find it hard to believe that we have a receiver room where everyone is exactly the same level. Pick your best guys and let's go. This should have been decided a month ago.

Wilton Speight will play next week and you know that Harbaugh has been readying his team for The Game the whole year.

Right now, the weather forecast looks like 48F to 50F, wind 5-10 MPH, partly sunny. I'm still worried about Ohio State's QB play, but I realize also that Urban Meyer has been getting ready for The Game as well. Be ready to bite your fingernails next week, Buckeye fans. It's going to be close and the bookmakers will probably make it a toss-up.

I agree, it will be a close and hard fought game. I'm not worried about JT. I am worried about our offensive game approach. The play calling is schizophrenic at best, has no rythmn, and makes no sense whatsoever. If it works, we stop doing it and if it doesn't work, well do it some more. It seems like Webber and Samuel disappear for long stretches. And where the hell has Noah Brown been? Did he even play today? Warriner and Beck are unable or unwilling to make in game adjustments based on what the defense is doing. The offensive line turtles against aggressive pressure defense and is missing any form of nastiness. If scUM comes hard at us like P$U and Sparty did....well.....

OL HAS to get better or scUM will reenact Houston vs Louisville. I'm optimistic they will rise to the challenge but still have their struggles. JT needs to expect the pressure though and make quicker decisions
Need to adjust the play calling to take advantage of an over aggressive defense. Have Prince just take his guy right out of the play, because that is where they are going to come....

My concerns about Barrett are not just today. He has missed a multitude of wide open receivers that last six games. I know it was very windy, but wind does not explain the problem. Indiana is playing against TSUN right now and hitting long passes against them in a wind similar to what Ohio State saw. There are issues that need to be addressed and I don't think that they will be addressed in a week.

JT gets little help from his receivers at times. While he misses passes at times, his receivers have also failed to make catches and plays at crucial times.

This is what I wonder. Is JT's seemingly more impressive passing from earlier in his career the result of receivers being better at making adjustments and having better hands? Devin Smith seemed to have jedi powers at times.
