Ohio State at Michigan State, Saturday, March 5, Noon, ESPN

I don't know why I get angry when Marc Loving does something bad, stupid or with a lack of effort and he runs back smiling.

I think Dan Dakich brought up (against ScUM, I think) that eventually you need to lose the "Too Cool for School" attitude, but I don't think Loving ever will.

It's three years now.

This is not setting up well for the Big 10 tournament. If MSU wins as expected here up 20 against Ohio State then I believe MSU will be the #2 seed and Ohio State the #7 seed in the Big 10 Tournament. They are the 1 team I think you don't want to play. I think if Ohio State would have finished as the #8 seed that would have been much better playing Indiana.

Hey-zeus. That is ridiculous.

Bucks need to use their length and make sure they are contesting everything. That means no lazy efforts around screens. I'm always leery of what the offense will bring on any given day, but you should be able to hang your hat on competing on the defensive end. I think it starts there and hopefully a full week of rest and prep allows the Buckeyes to get tuned in. Need a heck of an effort at East Lansing...and even then it may not be enough.

As frustrating as this team is, at least they are hanging around tournament talk to the last game and making it interesting. I'll be gritting by teeth, covering my eyes, and cheering for an upset all at the same time on Saturday.
Well, giving up 91 points on 67% shooting is not good defense.

Spartans are impressive right now.

Well, that happened. MSU is really good, we are below average...that was abundantly clear. I could not watch the game live unfortunately and fast-forwarded it quickly on my DVR but even from what I watched, MSU is really, really good this year and I think they will go far in the tourney.

For us? I am hoping we can win a game or two in the NIT and take that momentum into next season. Not a lack of effort at all, just hoping we can improve with experience next year.

I'm just ready for this season to be over. Least enjoyable for me in the Matta-era by a large margin.
The vastly improved post play alone made this year far less frustrating than last year me. At least Giddens and Thompson could finish around the rim, catch passes, and weren't afraid to put a slasher on his ass, even if it occasionally resulted in foul trouble. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing how much this team improves next year.
