This team would probably be a legit Top 10 team if everyone played consistently up to their potential every game. Tonight it was Williams and Thompson, against Illinois it was Loving and Lyle, against Minnesota it was Loving and Bates-Diop, and against USC it was Bates-Diop and Thompson, etc. When the team actually "jells" and you get consistent play from more than 2 guys a game they're B1G and NCAA contenders.

No doubt. I think this team has the potential to go down as Thad's best team ever if they keep improving. The thing I love is that they aren't completely dependent on one player for scoring. Last year we needed D-Russ to consistently get 20+ just so we wouldn't get blown out. This team legit has 7 players who could get you 10-20 on any given night.

Just sayin": The 2006-2007 team had Greg Oden, Mike Conley, Daequan Cook, David Lightly, Othello Hunter, Jamar Butler, Ron Lewis, and Ivan Harris.

and Oh yeah, Mark Titus too.....:lol:

It could easily be "one of his best" though.

True but I feel like this team could be more balanced than that team once they truly put it all together. I think this team's potential is a more athletic 2011 squad assuming they get another one-and-done talent like Sully and continue to grow.

I could be batshit insane though.

I'm probably batshit insane.
