Game Thread Ohio State @ Indiana - 09/14/19, 12:00PM (FOX)

A player or coach should never make statements about taking shots at the opposing teams star QB. It has the tendency to piss people off. Our coaches will be pissed, our Offense will be pissed and our Defense will be pissed. This could be a long day for Indiana.
The team already has to be upset in falling in the rankings and they know that we have had difficulties with them the past 6 seasons.

All the makings are there...

Wouldn't be shocked if this one ends up 56 to 0, but wouldn't be shocked if it's 28 to 24 either. Could really fall in either direction.

Memorial Stadium has half the capacity of The Shoe, and you can bet that near half of that will be filled by Buckeye fans. This will be a "road" game only that it's not a "home" game. I think Day is a little more cold-blooded in his preparation for a game than most of us think, and will have the team loaded for bear. I can see this being a 38-13 game.

That's how I see it too score wise... Also to me it seems like Day is a better game planner. I think Ryan isn't as ruthless when we go up big but I gather that Ryan comes in very prepared.

I agree. I don't feel like we are going to see a bunch of games in the 50's-60's, although I believe they do have the talent and capability to do so to a few teams left on their schedule. I don't think Day takes any unneccessary risks with Fields.

As long as the offense continues to be efficient, OL is able to control LOS and knock people off the ball when they have to pick up a big 1st down, Field's continues to progress in the right direction, and the D is dominant and plays with an edge, it really doesn't matter to me if they win games by only 20 points and score in the 30's and 40's.

I think most of us were realistic and anticipated a slight drop off in overall offensive numbers, but as long as the defense meets them in the middle, and they get back to their dominant ways, Buckeyes will be just fine. No worries here. I think upper 30's to low teens is a realistic possibility for this one.

I wouldn't be upset if they dropped 50 on them though either.....lol

I’m an IU fan and most likely biased. But I think Indiana is better than Michigan and Penn State. I could care less about who they’ve played so far. I feel like they have better athletes than those teams. Most of their players are from Florida.

No offense man but having players from Florida means nothing if they aren't high quality players.

IU is better than years ago but better than scUM and PSU? No.
