Bottom line, when guys like Jallow, Woods and A. Wesson are a major part of your rotation, and Jackson is, arguably, your best scorer, you have a lot of problems.

Like so many said before the season, this is at best a borderline tournament team. They just got off to another fast start and upped the expectations.

the 13-14 and 14-15 teams were not worse. the 13-14 team finished with a winning conference record, made it to tournament, finished in the top 25, and lost no games by more than 10 points. the 14-15 team spent much of the season ranked, finished barely outside the top 25, finished with a 11-7 conference record, and won a tournament game.

as it stands right now, i'd take either of those seasons and i wouldn't think twice about it.

OSU should commission a psychologist to study the relationship of body language to getting and receiving foul calls. Because when the more aggressive defensive team keeps getting twice as many foul calls as OSU, something else besides basketball is going on.

The poster I quoted specifically referenced shooting though. No one on that 13-14 team could consistently hit a shot beyond 10 feet. 14-15 at least had D Russ so I'll concede them.

Getting thoroughly dominated and out-hustled now.

I'm guessing this next month is going to be ugly. The book is out on how too beat this team - force wesson into foul trouble and play strong on-ball defense and let Ohio State beat themselves since they can't shoot better than 35%....
