My roommate is a MD grad, so I've seen a lot of MD football (unfortunately). Defense is ok, but has gotten worse as season gone on. Offense is very inconsistent. They put up less than 100 yds of offense against Iowa. If you can contain their run game, it's gameover.

We should be able to score at will. I see this as a 42-21 type game.

Yes they are. That's why they are only allowed to use turtles that are "farm raised" for the burgers. They aren't allowed to take any turtles out of the wild; however, they are allowed to "farm raise" them for consumption, etc. It is controversal:

This Turtle Tourist Center Also Raises Endangered Turtles for Meat

Animal advocates accuse the Cayman Turtle Centre of mistreating its sea turtles and stoking demand for the meat of an endangered species, claims it denies.

At the Cayman Turtle Centre tourists can kiss, hug, and pass around young sea turtles. They can even take a swim with bigger ones if they want. It’s billed as a rare opportunity to come into contact with endangered green sea turtles, a migratory species whose numbers are on the decline because of egg poaching, habitat degradation, and entanglement with fishing nets.

What many visitors don’t realize is that it’s also a sea turtle farm, where the rare turtles are bred in captivity to be killed for their meat, a traditional dish in the Caymans.

  • Ohio State's players of the game at Michigan State were Mike Weber and Terry McLaurin on offense, Dre'Mont Jones on defense and McLaurin and Drue Chrisman on special teams. Isaiah Prince, Demetrius Knox, Thayer Munford, J.K. Dobbins, Luke Farrell, Dwayne Haskins and Parris Campbell were also champions on offense, while Jonathon Cooper, Robert Landers, Tuf Borland, Malik Harrison, Pete Werner, Damon Arnette, Shaun Wade, Jordan Fuller and Brendon White were also champions on defense.
  • Meyer said Weber had "probably his best game" against Michigan State on Saturday.
  • On McLaurin: "I told Terry, if I have another child, I'm going to name him Terry. I don't imagine that's going to happen."
  • On whether he could see there being a shakeup on the offensive line: "Probably not right now."
  • On using the pistol formation more against Nebraska than Michigan State: "That's all play-specific. There's really not that much difference."

  • Meyer said he is still concerned about Michael Jordan's issues snapping the ball from the center position, but says he is still working really hard on improving in that area. Said Jordan was out on the field working on snapping on Sunday.

Two-Minute Drill: Urban Meyer Updates 11.12.18

+ Justin Hilliard is a monster on special teams.

+ There probably won’t be a shakeup on the offensive line, but they can play better. “It’s not exactly where we need to be.” Michael Jordan plays very well at times. He works his tail off, but it has been a little bit of a transition for him.

+ There isn’t that much of a difference running out of the pistol or shotgun.

+ Dwayne Haskins is still developing. His numbers may be dropping a bit, but MSU has a legitimate defense. His development has been very good.

+ Meyer is concerned about Michael Jordan’s snaps and the issues he has had. They are going to continue to work really hard at getting better at it. Jordan was snapping yesterday.

+ People being unhappy with where the Buckeyes are right now is a product of the program and the success they have had. “I get it. I don’t think we’ve played great either at times.” But the win over Michigan State at MSU was a big win. It’s tough to beat them. OSU isn’t playing great, but there are good moments. “It was a great team win.”

"Saturday’s win was a big win, but he doesn’t know if it will be galvanizing like the 2012 or 2014 wins. They are in game-prep mode, so he’s not sure, but food tastes better."

When it's not Dominos pizza taken whilst on a golf cart it usually does.

I can't watch this set of downs, look at the Right Tackle and sign off on anything that says the player was a "Champion".

1st and 3rd down...


I know it's only 2 plays, but there were more. Stud grade these? Meyer agree? Pretty disgusting.
