Buckeyes just went up 5-2 on a short-handed goal with 10 minutes left in the third. This one is pretty much over, and we swept these motherless fucks 4-0 for the season. I'm pretty sure this has never happened all the way back through the CCHA decades.

We get a break next week with two at home versus Sparty, then it's the biggest weekend of the year as the Buckeyes play two in South Bend with the domers. Even with a sweep in South Bend, we still need some help to get past the domers for the B10 regular season championship though.

We roll into the next round robin against Sparty this weekend. They should be pushovers, but there's the danger that the team might be looking past them to next weekend with the domers which will decide the regular season title. Fuckin' touchdown Jesus, man. Those creeps can skate.

Well, this was complete crap. Sparty just got an empy net goal to go up 6-3 with less than two to go. Goaltending was shit. We outshot Sparty by about 30-25, but these fucks still doubled up on us.
Worst thing is that the pedsters managed to tie up the fighting scissor lifts, so we could have picked up a couple of points tonight on the domers. That pretty much locks up the regular season title for those negligent manslaughter'n fucks. Meanwhile, we face the fucking gauntlet the next two weekends in South Bend and Minneapolis. This team has been great, but it's been talked about as a Frozen Four contending team. That type of team doesn't come out and get raped like a 12 year old gymnast by the conference bottom feeder in the stretch run.
