Top 30 Men’s team Nationally in D3 & One of the top 2 teams in NCAC conference Along w Kenyon .. and it’s true they have [pun intended] Alexandra Cash [Roberts sister] as the girls Top 25 a gem At number 1 singles and doubles Top 20 National Doubles team in D3 .

Just sayin': Sometimes it isn't about the money, usually assistants want aspire to the top of their profession by being the head coach. Or in this case his alma mater just came a calling:

Denison tabs OSU assistant David Schilling '89 to lead the men's tennis program

"We are thrilled to welcome David Schilling back home to Denison University," said Carney-DeBord, a 1980 Denison graduate. "I also had the opportunity to return to my alma mater after a career in coaching and there is something so special about coming home and being 100 percent invested in a community that you love. I have a feeling that David's love of Denison combined with his coaching prowess will mesh perfectly with our model of competitive excellence."

A 1989 Denison graduate and one of the most accomplished tennis players in the history of the program, Schilling comes to Denison after 20 years as an assistant coach at Ohio State. With Schilling on staff, Ohio State ascended to the top of the Big Ten and became a top-five program at the NCAA Division I level. The Buckeyes are currently riding a streak of 14 consecutive Big Ten championships, dating back to 2019. Since 2016 Ohio State men's tennis has compiled a record of 146-16 (.901). In 2018, the Buckeyes advanced to the Division I national championship match/
