Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

College tennis today suggested Seibert had been injured prior to the final rounds because he hadn’t played. Tucker had replaced Siebert in the lineup in round of 16, quarters, and semis, pushed Seelig to #4, Joyce up to #5, inserted Hunter tubert (1-2) at #6. In the finals with Siebert at 4 allowed bucks to get wins with #6 Joyce and #5 Seelig.
In the finals Tim was down in the first set 1-5 and came back to lose it 4-6; then he had things firing in the second up 5-2 when the wheels fell off.
I noticed in the videos coach Tucker (not an assistant coach) seemed to be match focused on Siebert, which made me suspect Tucker thought Torp was in the bank, and Tim would be the key for the 4th point.

Absolutely great season for the Buckeye team at 34-3.

And some individual honors.

NCAA Singles and doubles portion of the tournament begin today with Torp and Wolf in the singles draw and Torp and Joyce in the doubles portion.

Definitely was looking like that. We'll never know if Torp would have won that tiebreak or the match if it went to a 3rd set, but it def looked early that the winner of the #4 singles was going to win the championship

Sour grapes alert, thinking about Hugo DiFeo born April 1995, who was only given 2 years (2016&17) of eligibility by NCAA, and what if he had been part of this 2018 OSU team...
Then picking up questions and chatter on college tennis sites re. NCAA Eligibility standards, International makeup and amateur status of Wake Forest singles lineup:
1. Gojo, Croatia, 20 year old sophomore.
2. Crysochus, Cypress. Born April 1996, RS junior Ranked #469 on pro tour in 2015, prior to enrolling at Wake.
3. Mansouri, Tunisia, born July 1995.
4. Botzer, Israel, Born March, 1994, listed as a freshman who won 123 matches on the ITF pro circuit, 2013-2018.
5. Gladjev, Uzbekistan. Born Feb. 1996, listed as a RS sophomore.
