Ohio State needs the big three!!!

Out of all of the recruits in the state of ohio they need to get Ted Ginn Jr. , Marcus Freeman and Fred Davis at all costs. I think that these three players are the best in the state. We also need RUNNING BACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

With Freeman looking like he will commit on the 24th, Ginn Jr. all but signed sealed and delivered and Davis good friends with both of them and wanting to enroll early, it's looking pretty good for the Big 3.

I have been impressed this year with Haw. He's big and runs hard. Pittman is a quality back but has been banged up a little. You would think we should be able to attract a top national back but time will tell. I'd love to see us land a back with some size.

I wonder what impact Ginn and Davis committing will have on recruiting down the stretch? You would think it might help with some other guys we're in on who are on the fence...

86, helpinghand over at Bucknuts says Fred was at the game Saturday.

After reading Terrail Lambert's last update it would be nice if Fred could do some recruiting when he comes on board. We could use another corner in this class.

I agree- that was a nice little update on Lambert- much more promising than I thought and you have to think Fred was selling for us on the visit

What difference a few days make?? We now have a "good" chance at Sugar, Fred and Ted don't seem to be jeopardy and the Florida pipeline looks like it will bear some fruit

Great time to be a Buckeye!

living here in Florida does not give me the luxury of knowing about recruiting as some of you in Columbus or rest of Ohio.

Since Maurice Clarett will not be with us (it appears that way right now) who are some of the running backs in Ohio that are comparable to him who would be a good fit at Ohio State. Or if they are, maybe they have committed elsewhere. Just would like to know. Thanks.

IMO no one is comparable to him in Ohio

who would be a good fit at Ohio State.

We have two very solid prospect commitments in Erik Haw Columbus Independence) and Tony Pittman (Akron Buchtel)- there are two other guys we seem to be looking at in Ohio- Ray Williams (Cleveland Benedictine) and Gary Russell (Columbus Walnut Ridge)- both are very solid backs and in the case of Williams (possibly spectacular) but both might not get offers because of grades

We are also looking at a few OOS backs Darius Walker from GA who just visited this weekend and a couple of Florida Kids Sirdarean Adams and Dennis Kennedy both of who could play on the defense

I would venture to say there is no one in the country this year comparable to Clarett. Adrian Peterson is probably the best running back in the country but he doesn't have the size, speed and vision Clarett has. #13, on the field, is special.
