And Sparty has tOSU, the stinkin' badgers, and the pedsters as their next 3. Also a bit rough, even when you consider the bye week before they host the pedsters.

I want to see Sparty/PSU and tsun all hang a loss or two on each other so that OSU can wrap up the East with a win over PSU and then go ape fuck tsun in The Game just for the joy of The Game.

Our tough stretch is Ped St / TTUN
Ohio State / Wiscy is objectively tougher than that. It’s followed by Bye/PSU. Bye or no bye, that’s a tougher stretch than Ohio state has

NW's offense is something god awful, this seems like it could be the sleep walk game. Friday night against a schlub after 2 big wins over decent opponents. Even if the offense comes out stale, NW doesnt have the horses to win this one.
Their QBs complete under 50% with 2 TD and 8 INTs combined. (not to mention the sad 4.3 YPA)
Running game averages 3.6 YPC......
Their defense is alright, probably hindered by being on the field so much. THat will likely be the case in this game for them as well.

NW has a better defense than Nebraska but worse offense. NW and Nebraska are close...obviously they played a close game this weekend in Lincoln. I'd say they are almost dead even on a neutral field. Losing Bowser hurt those guys. IMO their 3rd string QB is better than their top Johnson or Greene.
I think they will play hard but we will dominate. Their defense will wear down.
I see a 49-7 or 56-10 type game.

Gotta see PSU play someone besides Idaho,Purdue,Maryland,Buffalo,and Pitt. They play Iowa this weekend but the Hawkeyes are garbage. PSU has a relatively easy schedule. They have looked good against tomato cans.

To have a punchers chance when fighting outside your weight class, it starts with offense. You need to have some hidden skills if you don't score a lot. Either score quick with big plays (point per play) or posses the ball (3rd down % and TOP %).
Unfortunately for NU they are old mother Hubbard and the cupboard is bare as fuck.
89th in TOP % at 47.32
99th in 3rd down conversion % at 33.33
129th Points per Play .188
and for extra credit they give the ball away 2.4 times per game which is good for 121st nationally
They are worse offensively than Miami of Ohio.
I don't give a flying fuck how long they let the grass grow, how much time to prepare, what day of the week it falls on, what time of day they play this game, what color uniforms they wear or how many cancer kids they wheel out there...Northwestern doesn't stand a fucking chance.
