Game Thread Ohio State @ Purdue - 10/20/18, 7:30PM (ABC)

Northwestern lining up as the Buckeye plunger game for next season.....

Too soon 8D
not at all. if not Northwestern it will be IU finally. just no confidence left for me. I think what made it worse for me was seeing the efficiency of the team in weeks 1-3. No wasted timeouts. no delay of games. very few procedure issues/false starts. Now all that stuff is back.

We get pissed and vent here, but this shit is out of hand. Bowen got this while sitting on his couch:

I'm going to offer a counter opinion to the stampede to denounce "Kenny the Rooster" and other anonymous, social media morons. I'm a little disappointed in Bowen's tweet. That is not to defend "Kenny the Rooster." It is to point out that getting insulting tweets from anonymous morons is a universal feature of Twitter. I've gotten them. I'm sure you get far more of it if you're a somewhat public figure, like Bowen, or anyone else who has started for a major football program. But that is what you sign up for when you're active on Twitter, especially if you're a somewhat public figure. Again, this is not to excuse the insulting, anonymous morons. If you don't want to hear from insulting, anonymous morons, stay off of Twitter. But don't retweet them and complain about it. Because, whether intended or not, you're casting aspersions on a lot of good people who support your program, and you're really just highlighting a characteristic of the system, Twitter, that you chose to participate in.

It wasn't even a tweet. It was a DM. I guess he doesn't know how to set his DM permissions.

Yes this... the way Bowen and a lot of buckeye players tweet regarding the small percentage makes it seem like they're throwing all the fans under the bus.

As you said it goes with the territory of being a buckeye football player and you have to take the good as well as the bad.

The guy is a POS for messaging a player and saying that but all the players need to not condemn "bandwaggon fans" after a loss.

On 11W, a poster made the point that if Urban doesn't make some moves with his coaching staff soon, it will mean that he is not coming back in 2019. Does that make sense? We have co-defensive coordinators and same with offense.
