Game Thread Ohio State @ Rutgers - 11/16/19, 3:30PM (BTN)

Rutgers has scored 24 points......this entire season. Total. 24 points. tOSU has scored 24 or more in 5 quarters this season (and none of those were again Maryland, if you can believe that). This is going to be bad.....

I think that’s just in Big Ten play. They put up 48 on Umass, 44 on Liberty, and 16 on BC.

Saban ain’t part of the November schedule this year.
I’m with you. I honestly don’t know how you can be a Buckeye fan and not be worried about the next four games. And then 2 more assuming we get those.

The last team that I thought was this dominant was 1998. Fuck me. 1998.

I’ll readily admit that this team looks significantly more dominant than that team, but....as a Buckeye fan, it is my God given right to worry about some team less talented than mine somehow beating my team. It is my right and I am executing it nervously.

In the five games all-time against Rutgers (all in conference), the average score is 54-6 (actually, it's 5.4 for Rutgers, but rounded it up for shit-and-giggles). Take out the first game in 2014 where Rutgers scored 17 points, the average score is 54-3, with Rutgers scoring only 10 points on those four games (and the TD at Rutgers in 2015 came on the last play of the game).
