With spring football completed for the Buckeyes, focus is shifted to recruiting and developing for the summer months leading into fall.

Ohio State is now through spring football and has the summer to look forward to. With so much happening this spring for the Buckeyes, including the NFL Draft just a week away, Ohio State has done a tremendous job showcasing why they're truly one of the elite programs in the country. Whether it's the visits and/or media pieces, recruits receiving attention from Ohio State have to be impressed with what the Scarlet and Gray have to offer.

2018 WR earns offer

2017 is poised to be a special year at the receiver position for coaches Urban Meyer and Zach Smith. With highly coveted prospects strongly considering the Buckeyes, the future is bright. However, just because one class of recruits is promising, that doesn't mean the work is finished. In fact Urban Meyer and his staff know that recruiting is a never-ending business. Knowing that, yesterday, per his twitter account, 2018 receiver prospect, Jahan Dotson made it known that the Buckeyes had offered him a scholarship.

Dotson, a Nazareth, Penn. prospect checks in at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds and already has an impressive offer list. While he doesn't yet have a ranking on the 247sports database, Jahan has seen his recruitment really take off as of late. Schools that have offered this 2018 product include: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, and most recently Ohio State among others. It's extremely early in the process and there's no set leader as of now, but look for the Buckeyes to be near the top of his list as they usually are in today's age.

Extremely Excited and Thankful to announce that I have received an offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes ⚪pic.twitter.com/VAQ7HVqTa4

Kaindoh narrows it to 4

A prospect not new to Buckeye fans is 2017 defensive end product Joshua Kaindoh of Florida's IMG Academy. The 5-star prospect holds thirty offers and is ranked as the nation's best weak-side defensive end by 247sports. With an incredible frame, the 6-foot-6, 256 pound stud took to twitter to announce that he was down to a final list of four schools that he is still deciding between in his recruitment.

On that list, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame round out the final four. In surprise to many, Maryland, at once thought to be the destination for Kaindoh was left off the list. With that, the likely choice best thought to be leading the way for the 5-star would be Notre Dame. However, if Kaindoh gets to Columbus for a visit, all bets are off to who will lead the way for his services come the final decision. Urban Meyer and Ohio State have a proven track record and if Kaindoh is a product desired by Ohio State, the red carpet will certainly be rolled out.

Thank you to every school that has offered me with an opportunity to attend their University, but here is my Top 4. pic.twitter.com/uWdsj7CsYH

Akers feeling the love

Make no mistake about it. Ohio State's football graphic design team is the best in the business. The work they do for recruiting is second to none and hasn't gone unnoticed. Yesterday, the second best running back in the country according to 247sports, Cam Akers of Mississippi showed twitter just how good that graphic design for Ohio State really is. Akers, a 5-star has been pretty high on the Buckeyes as of late and things may get even more interesting in the near future.

With the recent news of current running back commit for the Buckeyes, Todd Sibley being asked to take a "gray shirt", Cam Akers may just be the reason why. Ohio State currently has both Todd Sibley and J.K. Dobbins in the 2017 fold, but room may be necessary if Ohio State truly wants Akers in Scarlet and Gray. Time will tell, but current quarterback signee, Dwayne Haskins Jr. certainly likes the idea of Akers in his future backfield.

Baron on OSU radar

Another prospect to receive love from the graphic design team was 5-star linebacker Baron Browning of Kennedale, Texas. Yesterday, via his twitter account, Baron showed the latest design that had been released signifying him dawning the Scarlet and Gray. The second best outside linebacker in the country according to 247sports has a prediction rate of crystal balls pegged toward the Texas Longhorns, but Ohio State is certainly on his radar. With nearly 40 college offers, Browning is easily one of the most coveted players in all of the country. To make things even more fun for Buckeye fans, check out the quarterback in the fictional graphic.

Vincent Jr. shows off the Buckeyes

Finally, yet another elite prospect to show off the graphic design work yesterday was Kary Vincent. Another Texas product, the Port Arthur cornerback rates as a 4-star according to 247sports and is the twenty-fifth best at his position in the nation for the 2017 class. Thought to be a Texas Christian lean, the Buckeyes are not seriously a player for his pledge yet. However, that could easily change as Kary plans to head to Columbus for a visit this coming summer in June. If this happens, anything is possible for Ohio State.
