So, if you win the tosx do you take the ball or play defense? On one hand you would liks to get the O on the field and look to take a shot to alleviate some angst. On the flip side ypuj would like D to come out and make a quick stop. Both options have positive and negative potential. I would hate to see tgje O not sustain a drive or the D get stuck on the field for a long time consumingvdrive. Decisions, decisions....

Kick the ball... IMO worse thing we can do is start the game with a stalled drive. Maybe we can get a 3 and out with good field possession to set up a short field.

I think this game is going to be close... a Army sports reporter (who would have thought they had one) called for like a 27-14 OSU win and that seems about right... I'll go with 38 to 24 though

35-10.

My last game prediction was flawed. I was consumed by hubris. Sleep deprived, I mistook food poisoning for a vision of victory. I feared my power was lost.

This game will prove, one way or the other, if the power I posess(ed) as a native born son of Ohio, has escaped me.

Go Bucks, and FUCK THAT SCHOOL UP NORTH.

If I am terribly wrong again this week, I will withhold all future predictions until The Game.

Ugh! I don't like playing an option team after a loss. Nothing to gain.
LBers better play their assignments this week!
And tackle! Tackle! Tackle!
I look for a full "power football" offense this week. TEs added to help block. Army is physically small so we should be able to dominate the LOS.

Take the ball. Score a TD.

The LBs and defensive line are critical in stopping the triple option. The D-line needs to get into the backfield and the LBs need to stick their man each and every time. Yeah - still worried about this one.

The only good outcome here is a blowout like expected. Anything less than that (I don't think a loss is much of a possibility) will be exceedingly worrisome.

Eh, I half expect a blowout. Triple option aside army is not a very good overall team. They barely beat Buffalo (21-17) last week, Buffalo is predicted to finish near the bottom of the MAC.

Their defense was very good statistically last year (allowed 18.9 points and 282 yards per game), but not as impressive when you take their schedule into account. Notre Dame beat them 44-6. They lost their 3 best defensive players and 2 of them were the LBers who really made it work.

Buffalo also kept it close with Minnesota so they're not as horrible as you'd think. Anyone expecting a blowout doesn't remember the last two times we played the service academies then
