Game Thread Ohio State vs. Bowling Green, 09/03/16 @ 12pm ET, BTN

Pork shoulder is rubbed and wrapped and the sauce made and cooling. It's going on the smoker at 6 am, which should make it ready for the second half tomorrow. Carolina bbq.....the best bbq!

I'm not attending this game but will be going next week and I'm curious to see how OSU's new parking polices work for them. I just got an email about the changes and they have basically taken away most of the parking in the AG area of the campus. So the nice walk over the bridge is now gone and I'm not sure where we are going to park. We used to park right across the river in the lot that drops off the buses from West Campus but those are all now "Athletic Permit required." With all those spaces gone we would have to arrive at 5:30 AM in hopes of getting anything near the stadium. Tailgating was great fun for the last 15 yrs but it may be time to hang it up.

Carolina bbq ain't got no sauce, at least that is what I learned when I lived there......unless that is vinegar based basting sauce, but it looks to dark for that.... What's in the rub? What wood chips are you using? Just curious, I just smoked one last weekend (cayene, garlic, onion, black pepper, sea salt, olive oil, oregano, mesquite chips) and it was awesome.

The cell signal suddenly went to shit the last few weeks in my office building (used to get full bars of LTE, now I'm lucky to get one bar of 3G, more often just one bar of basic CDMA coverage), so hopefully I can get enough of a signal to at least listen to the stream from 97.1 until I can get to the break room TV for the 2nd half.
