Game Thread Ohio State vs Cincinnati - 09/07/19, 12:00PM (ABC)

So we don't lose this...

A Virginia Tech alumnus and ESPN Analytics guru, Paul Sabin shared his informed insights on the ESPN sidebar today...

Ohio State is on upset watch today. Cincinnati has a 24% chance to win per FPI. That's the highest of any team outside the AP top ten that is playing a AP top ten team today. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41075592-4 …

Catch Paul pleasuring monkeys at a zoo near you. Don't forget the poo throwing shows daily!

I wonder if this will put any kind of a dent in the juggalo's constant talk that they deserve an annual home & home series with us. Probably not because you can't pimp slap the stupid away.

But it sure feels good to try.

The defense has been outstanding and not to be outdone Fields has been lights out too...

I can't get over how good this team has been so far.

Defense has been so good!!

The growth has been on D and especially at LB has been way more than expected. Damn happy boy right now. And full of tequila which I dont normally drink and has me right. Nap time

How many third downs did the starting offense face? 5/6? Just didn’t have the need to throw that much. I don’t know if this sounds antiquated but if a team can’t stop the run, I’ll do it until otherwise.

I don’t know, it was really hard not to feel better about the offense today. The pass protection continues to be good, and it seems like Fields is pretty responsible with the ball.

Still some things to improve and there always will be, but there was a lot to like today.

Yeah I mean, UC isn't super talented, but they have a disciplined D that will be solid to good this year. The offense rarely struggled and really just did whatever they wanted until they started to run clock at the end of the 3rd.
