Ohio State vs. Cleveland State, Friday, Nov. 23 @ 8:00 PM, FS1

LeDee is really struggling with position on defense. His hedges/drops vs the PnR have been horrid. He is very young so it is expected, but I am hopeful he can improve as the season goes along. My other complaint while I'm here is Andre Wesson's TOs. He as one of the higher TO rates in the nation right now.

I actually had a dream last night where Andre Wesson had a lazy pass turnover, haha. Stop ruining my dreams, Dre.

He's definitely been something of a frustrating player this season. He's producing a bit more than he was last season and still giving us solid D, but he's a junior and yet I still don't get what he's doing out there sometimes. He had a much better second half but that first half from him was pretty bad.

What's going to be real interesting is next season when Gaffney and Liddell come in. I really think Dre needs to step up his game a bit if he wants to keep the minutes he's getting now. Or at least I hope he needs to step it up and Holtmann doesn't just gift him the minutes, regardless. Even if Liddell and Gaffney aren't going to be as solid in some ways as a senior Andre would be, I think I'd rather see them get some of his minutes and develop, unless Andre is going to play well much more consistently. I don't know where else the minutes are going to come from, though, because Kaleb's minutes aren't going to go down and Young already should probably be playing a little bit more than he is.

As far as this game goes: it kind of looked like what we expected going into the season. Kaleb and CJ leading the way, some modest contributions from several others, Luther giving us solid play on both ends but the other frosh struggling a bit.
