Ohio State vs. Indiana, Tuesday, 7 PM, ESPN2

Chris Holtmann will be compared to Archie Miller as long as they're both coaching at these schools. Looking at both rosters, I'd say they're comparable. I said it a couple weeks ago, and I'll say it again...i like how this turned out.

Given the wait until June to make a move, I'm glad we were able to get one of them. Couldn't really ask for more than Holt has brought to this point.

Another great outing, truly. KBD was downright dominant on the defensive end and did what he needed to on offense, rebounded the ball like a fiend. K. Wesson just flat out dominated and I love his game. Potter played an amazing game as well, both ends of the ball. This team is playing like a complete ball team and it is showing. Anyone else realize we have the same players but are making free throws? I am beyond impressed with what CH has done so far and I am legitimately excited about this team. Great job tonight boys, that was awesome.

I never thought beating Indiana in basketball would be so easy the game was not even very close after the first 5 minutes. I was concerned about Johnson going into the game because they really only have 2 scorers and Johnson cut locked down by CJ.

I am not going to draw any coaching comparisons because we do have Tate and KBD but it is going to be interesting over the next few years out how this "rivalry" pans out.

yeah, definitely can't draw any conclusions. heck, IU could easily beat us at their place in a couple weeks.

things fell into place for Holtmann to have a surprisingly good first season here. Archie is having a more typical transition/rebuild year at IU.

but if Morgan comes back for them, which I think is probable, then I'd wager Hoosiers will be the better team next season. guys like Phinisee and Hunter and Damezi are exactly the types of players IU needs to add. And Davis will be back so they will have some interior size again, along with Forrester and Moore.

If they are better than OSU and OSU has some struggles next season, we will have the peanut gallery coming out of the woodwork stating that we made a mistake not getting Archie. When in reality it will take five years or so really to judge, and even then it's just different programs and situations.

I think both guys will be successful, and I expect both programs to be at relatively even strength starting in 2019-2020 and on from there.

After last night, I will be shocked if we lose to them at Bloomington. They just did not have any size this season to combat Wesson or even KBD. In addition, I do not think that they are a very physical team and Tate will just have his way again. That is no knock on Archie but that is just the way it is this season.

Yeah, they might be better than us next season but I do not think that their recruiting class is that much better than our recruiting class so that will be a wash. If Morgan comes back that will help them but that is like saying if KBD comes back that would help Ohio State. I know Davis is a pretty good big man but I think that Wesson, and to a lesser extent Potter, can hold their own against him. It will be interesting to see what happens next season but I just do not think that Archie Miller is a better coach then Chris Ho1tmann.
