Game Thread Ohio State vs Maryland, 10/07/17 @ 4:00 ET (FOX)

Eh. What money was to be made there? It’s just complete incompetence.

I'm not saying in that particular instance (though it was still the 1st half when that happened and ejecting a starter isn't insignificant), but think about the plays they review: touchdowns, first downs, targeting. They review the most critical plays of the games. Their influence can be enormous. After 2007 Illinois, I will always be wary of shady refs.

We get fucked on review more often than what you'd think was humanly possible. That Illinois game, that Purdue game where Pryor recovered his fumble and they gave it away, the INT against Wisconsin last year....these are just off the top of my head. I know there's more. But you could have ejected half the defense in the first 5 minutes against Maryland......it wasn't going to make the upset or the under happen. That was just incompetence.
