Game Thread Ohio State vs Maryland - 11/09/19, 12:00PM (FOX)

So scUM beat Maryland 38-7 yesterday, SHea barely had 150yds passing and their leading rusher had 60yds:roll1:...
I see Fields having 150ds by the half, JK AND Master having 100yds, and us having at least 3-4 WRs with 50-60 receiving yards.
I still don't see much improvement in scUM like some analysts seem to be saying. They beat an ND team that is annually overrated, and their supposed best game of the year for them was a loss to an overrated UGA team. And yesteday scUM beats a terrible Maryland team, with an offense that is still stuck in quicksand and has no identity, and a suspect defense who just out talented Maryland. If it wasn't for the 2 long special teams returns, we're looking at an offense that scored only 3 TDs on one of the worst teams in CFB

BTN guy says that TTUN's offense really kept on rolling today.

38 points on Maryland is rolling huh?

So what, pray tell, is 38 points on fucking Wisconsin?

It was 31 points from the offense. They ran a kick back for the first TD.

The 331 yards of total offense was equally unimpressive.

The Game is always dangerous.

This. A thousand times this.

The Game played in AA is almost always played closer than it needs to be for some reason.

And I’ve said too many times..how did that just happen? I know you young guys are plenty confident..it could happen.

Not only that but if Maryland doesn't shit the bed in the red zone they have atleast another 14+ points.

This scUM team will be the worse version we have played in the past 5 years. They are insanely overrated on defense and their offense hasn't done anything all year.

We will beat them an inch from their life

The Game is always dangerous.

Don't disagree with this at all

In college football games, the better team doesn't always win

In rivalry games, that goes times 10

In The Game, that goes times 1000

Knowing which team is better this year isn't a prediction for The Game, it's a matter of being at least semi-sentient.

Buckeyes are a 44 point favorite. On one hand, that's high as fuck. On the other hand, the defense alone might beat Maryland to within an inch of their collective lives after the embarrassment last year.

Re: Ohio State has covered the spread in each of its last seven games, but the 44-point spread is the highest the Buckeyes have faced this season, and they've only two games (76-5 over Miami and 52-3 over Northwestern) by margins that large.

That's a lot of points to give especially if Day puts the subs in early (i.e. has no desire to run up the score).

Is this a real spread? Only time I can ever remember seeing spreads this high is the tune up games to start a season against mediocre or worse FCS teams.
