Ohio State vs. Michigan St., Saturday, January 5 @ 12pm, FOX

Washington, Woods, Jallow and Ahrens gave nothing today when MSU's bench provided rebounds and points. Combine that with 4 starters in foul trouble or injury and thats your game.

Was hoping to get more from the bench so the starters could stay in there but it didnt happen. If we dont get at least one of those guys to contribute consistently, they'll lose too many games this year. The potential is there to do great things even as young as they are but they can't play 5 on 8 or 9 all season.

Mourn it today, then forget about it and on to the next one. Not going to get much easier.

Lots to like from this game but man we are thin at guard especially if woods is invisible
yeah, we're terribly thin everywhere. behind kaleb, there is no post player who can create his own offense. we have no small forward who is better than below-average at creating offense. other than muhammad, we have no guard who is better than average at breaking down his defender.

this season is just a testament to a coach getting his players to play cohesive ball beyond their collective talent. we're one pat of butter for a tall stack of pancakes.

The sequence with a little under 4 minutes to play where Wesson missed two free throws, Ohio State got a stop and then Washington came down and passed up a pass for a wide open three and instead took a terrible shot was the point where Sparty took control. You simply can't have that down the stretch.

Just an in between team...we miss KBD and Tate something fierce and the gaffney/liddell/carton crew are still in HS
