I will do my usual emotional arbitrage ML on the OSU opponent. I have blood money on my hands from Penn State that must be purged.

From Ohio State Press Release

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Ohio State Men’s Basketball fans are encouraged to attend an open practice Saturday before the football Buckeyes take on Nebraska (8 p.m.).

The basketball team will practice at 4:30 p.m. at Value City Arena. Admission is free.

Value City Arena will open at noon and access to the arena bowl (Northeast and Northwest sides) will open at 4:30 p.m. A concession area near the Ohio State Team Shop will be accessible for this event.

Fans wishing to attend the open practice may park in any of the Football Day of Game parking lots for $20.

I'm expecting something like 28-24 good guys.
Buckeye "D" gets a pick six and a couple interceptions.
The Husker QB can make plays but has a bad habit of throwing off his back foot.
And their punting game is bad. One of the worse in the NCAA.

Yeah. These kids don't need to be going to class or eating or breathing.....they should ONLY be practicing football.

I reject the notion that straw men exist.

For real though...the point stands. It's absurd to think doing that photoshoot somehow detracts from JT's performance on the field. He exists outside of the three and a half hours that we get to watch him play football.

So if the creative team had published 1 photo and you weren't sure if it was JT or not, would you feel better?

Hoke teams had a lot of great practices. So did young WRs who drew rave reviews from Urban only to not play all year.


I'd be more concerned if Ed and Tim were doing photo shoots. That would be offensive on multiple levels and much more likely to disrupt the offensive effort this weekend.

Need more reasons? Ok...

1) You're not his mother
2) You have no idea when the photos were taken or how long they took. Sammy is not staging daily photo shoots for his epic edits. He has a treasure trove of source pics, many of which were photographed before the season.
3) JT is a pretty disciplined leader, I sincerely doubt this is going to disrupt anything and if it did, I guarantee he'd find a way to get the reps/lifting/film/etc in.
4) JT is allowed to have a life. That includes dishes, social media, video game and ladies.
