The Bucks head to Lincoln with their postseason fate up in the air.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to continue to build their resume heading into the college basketball postseason. Whether that will be an NCAA Tournament or NIT berth has yet to be seen, but they can keep their hopes for the big dance alive with a win Saturday night in Lincoln.
The Buckeyes are currently 65th in the latest KenPom rankings, and will be facing the 95th ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers. This will be the first and only meeting between the two teams. The Huskers have lost five of their last seven games, with their two wins coming against Rutgers and Penn State.
A Buckeye win today would be great, but style points are going to need to come into play sooner or later. We saw Marc Loving re-emerge against Michigan, and a repeat performance would be more than welcomed. Keita Bates-Diop and Kam Williams have provided some good sparks on offense, and when those guys get going, the Buckeyes are a much better team. But they'll have to slow down Andrew White and Shavon Shields, two of the anchors for the Huskers.
