Game Thread Ohio State vs Northwestern, 10/29/16, 3:30pm ET ESPN/WatchESPN

For sure. I'm skeptical I'll be this anxious during ScUM week (Ok, that's probably a lie). I just want to see some improvement. These guys know how disappointed the fans must be that they "dropped the ball." First loss many of them have ever experienced. I sure hope they can come together and really make an impression-- even if it's just so I'll stop hearing crap at work!

DEPTH CHART: OHIO STATE'S LATEST TWO-DEEP AGAIN UNCHANGED DESPITE LOSS AT PENN STATE

75833_h.jpg,qitok=hTJz20q3.pagespeed.ce._o7YKPsxv-.jpg

  • Redshirt sophomore Kyle Trout and redshirt junior Evan Lisle remain as co-backups at right guard in place of Demetrius Knox, who is out with a broken foot.
  • Joe Burger remains in place of Justin Hilliard at backup WILL linebacker, who is out for the season with a torn biceps. Ohio State still lists Jerome Baker and Dante Booker as a co-starters at that position.
  • Booker missed Ohio State's wins against Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rutgers and Indiana with a sprained MCL. He made the trip to Penn State and dressed but did not play.
  • Despite a 91-yard kickoff return against Indiana, Parris Campbell is not listed at the kickoff return position.
  • Baker remains Chris Worley's backup at SAM linebacker.
  • Sam Hubbard and Jalyn Holmes remain co-starters at defensive end opposite of Tyquan Lewis.
  • Marshon Lattimore remains a co-starter at one cornerback spot with Denzel Ward despite being second on the team with three interceptions.

They are for me, particularly Ed.

Over/under on the number of times Ed thinks a team should go for it on 4th down is set at 12.5

Isn't Ed the guy that predicts every play and neither of his predictions are even remotely close to what the actual play is?

Reminds me of Dan Fouts calling the Bourbon Bowl

Pressure the QB and try to get the secondary some picks, because I highly doubt they're going to try to beat us on the ground. They're airing it out.

Hoping Hooker is spying the ball, because I think he'll get some opportunities to haul it in.

My bud texted me a few weeks ago and said, "Surely we cannot be beat by a QB named Hornibrook." And we weren't.

Now the question is whether a guy named "Clayton" or "Thorson" can beat The Ohio State Buckeyes. Honestly, he sounds like an actor who should be starring in Vikings.
