WHAT TO WATCH FOR

* Will there be a fatigue carryover for Ohio State? The Buckeyes played five games in 11 days, and admitted they were feeling it in a win over Nebraska on Monday night. There's now been some rest time between that game and Thursday night's against Penn State, but not a lot. A more significant respite comes after this. Ohio State doesn't play again until Tuesday night at home against Indiana. So they could still have some tired legs tonight. Penn State last played on Saturday in a loss at Northwestern.

* Can the Buckeyes find their form again from behind the 3-point line? Over the last four games, Ohio State is shooting 26.4 percent (19-for-72) from deep. All of those games have been wins, so it's something that's been overlooked a bit, perhaps a byproduct of the compacted schedule.

Definitely a trap game but yes, we have fared well in those so far. Glad this one is at home. Looking forward to watching the game, it is nice to have a watchable team to look forward to throughout the week.

Damn I was leaning toward laying the 9 but not now. Of course, you have to be weary of the "sick" player in basketball, sometimes they go off a la Jordan in the finals.

Could be another under 140 bet? Tough call.

If there was going to be a night with a let down it was Monday, coming home after 3 wins in 6 games and a visit to MSG, and we saw how it was a struggle.
So what's the "trap" tonight? Hosting 13-8 Penn State while looking 4 days ahead to 12-9 Indiana? What's the "trap"? Their name is Indiana?
If you're really looking for a "trap" it's Illinois, 3 days before the visit to Purdue. There's a night where you hope the boys aren't overlooking their opponent.

Just sayin': The mother of all trap games:
