last 10 years of this game, OSU has been a double digit favorite 4 times;

2010: -19.5 (W 38-14)
2013: -15 (W 63-14)
2015: -17.5 (W 38-10)
2016: -17.5 (L 21-24)

all were at home except for 2016 game

More useless thoughts;

The early total is 59 so a 42-17 kind of game.
Sparty (before they quit) and Wisky (in a driving rain) are the only two teams that have held the OSU offense under 40.
No one has scored anything close to 17 points on the starting defense.

Ohio State was favored by fewer points against Indiana, Nebraska, Cincinnati and Wisconsin so far this season.

The Buckeyes have been double-digit favorites in every game so far this season, and have failed to cover just twice. Ohio State failed to cover the 28-point spread in the season opener against Florida Atlantic and did not cover the 52.5-point spread against Rutgers this weekend.

I missed why he was out of their game. If he got concussed surely the noble caring people of joe wouldn't want him rushed back just to win a football game. That's what uncivilized barbarians like osu fans would do.
