Ohio State vs. Penn State, Friday, 630pm, BTN

Nahhh Loving, Thompson, and Lyle puts that team over the edge. All three were just complete head cases.
thompson was by no means a "headcase." not sure where that's coming from. the only knock on thompson was that he fouled a lot. that's it. he was a good teammate who bought in and didn't take off plays like lyle and loving. his per-minute stats were outstanding. the only player among all high major programs last season who was a better rebounder than thompson on a per-minute basis was swanigan. we'd be a much better team had thompson returned.

And one last thing, I really don’t think that Keita leaving is a done deal yet because he definitely needs to be more physical or he will be eaten alive at the next level where the grown men play. And he’s also to timid at times and looks like he doesn’t want to shoot the Ball. I don’t know just sucks oh well
I agree his stock as an NBA player isn't as high as most here think it is but I also see no incentive to play for a depleted Ohio State team next year.

carr didn’t make the last shot..our other 4 defenders stared at him and didn’t do their job.

There were plenty of defining moments in that game where we could have won. But that one is tough to ignore...wtf were we doing? Again, we lost this game and the only finger to be pointed is right at ourselves. Really disappointing way to start (and finish) the conference tournament. Oh well, March madness is a different animal.

Huh. I had heard the opposite on other sites although you're right in that he always gave good effort.

i agree that we'll be much better at guard. the combined offense and defense of jackson, muhammad, and washington should be far better than jackson, dakich, and williams. muhammad is a massive upgrade in size, athleticism, tenacity, defense, and off-the-dribble offense. i fully expect jackson and muhammad to be a formidable backcourt on both sides of the court.

with today's loss, osu will have played only a single game in either 20 or 21 days by tournament time. we had plenty of rest coming in to today's game, but we didn't look any better for it despite playing a team (minus a regular starter) that played yesterday.

Agreed, we might be one and done. Then again, PSU just has our number for whatever reason. We've beat many good-great teams this season...we just can't beat this one for whatever reason.

I have no idea what our ultimate fate is but after watching quite literally every regular season game, I think we could make a deep run.

I hope so but that's far from a guarantee at this point. He's ranked #77, if he was a top 30 recruit or something maybe I would be a little more confident.

i think lots of fans denigrated thompson because of loving and lyle... and even the 2015 class the year before. moreover, i think plenty seem to think it's a character issue to foul a lot. i don't agree. he might not have been demonstrative like tate, but i never felt like thompson was merely punching the clock.

Ugh losing 3 times to Sandusky and twice on crap like that is just annoying to an otherwise great season......this win basically probably putting them in the dance adds to that.

Luther Muhammad is the Truth. And Duane Washington is a clear upgrade from Andrew Dakich.

If KBD leaves we suffer a huge loss in the frontcourt, but Jaedon LeDee should be a very good addition. Bottom line is that I see a small step back if KBD leaves, but a big step forward if he returns (not that I'd advise him to do so).
