I am strangely excited for this game. I want the entire second half to be played with players that otherwise wouldn't see time. It would be fun to see them in action, would get them much needed prep time, and would rest the others. No offense to Rutgers. . . I really like, well, something about them.

I see JT breaking the school record in the first half. No need to keep him in after a few series in the third. We NEED to get Burrow some actual reps. Only as good as our backup can play...

Rutgers' colonial cannon guard. If you're confused about the colonial cannon—scarlet knight connection, it's because Rutgers was named after a Revolutionary War hero.

Henry Rutgers (October 7, 1745 – February 17, 1830)

was a United States Revolutionary War hero and philanthropist from New York City. A year after the school, Rutgers University, was named after him, he donated a bell that is still in use today, and a bond which placed the college on sound financial footing.

Man, JT is an animal in the locker room compared to the quiet kid who became a Buckeye a few years ago. So proud of him despite any of his flaws off the field last year. Stepping up and being a leader for a great group of guys.

Go Bucks! Bury the competition.
