I just looked at Tulsa's stats from the SJSU game, and I'm not longer concerned about their passing:

..................Yds...rank
Total Offense.....512...36th
Rushing Offense...305...15th
Passing Offense...207...74th

D'Angelo Brewer rushed for 164 yards and 3 TDs on 22 carries (7.45 ypc)
Team rushed for 305 yards on 58 carries, and if you take out the 6 yards on the kneel-down and the 19 yards lost on 5 carries by Evans, you have 330 yards on 52 carries (6.3 ypc)
Dane Evans was 12-23-0 for 207 yards and 1 TD passing
One of their six TDs was a 24-yard pick-six, and another was a recovery in the end zone of a muffed punt, so they had only four offensive TDs.

They had over twice as many rushing plays as they did passing plays. Load the box, bring the corners up, and banzai their asses as game long...

I actually think the defense will hold them for the most part, though they have more chance to break a few then Bowling Green.....but I'll go with a score of around 60-17. Their D is dookie and doesnt stop anyone with any sort of pulse on offense.

Hoping that Urb doesn't play JT too long. With the game already decided, prognosticate that Burrow will come in twice, mid-second, and mid-third quarters to finish the game. Some of the other key players as well. Still predict 48-14, and 'shutting down' the offense and defense stunts, etc to Oklahoma doesn't see all of what's coming down the tracks at them. Same strategy as every tOSU coach uses for Michigan. Even playing vanilla schemes, should be enough to hammer Tulsa, and give the 30-odd newbies some more minutes. DL will have to fill Sprinkle's shoes with one or more DTs, and the OL will be more in sync than last week. NOT saying that the 2's (and 3's) won't do well, hope they do, but Urb will want everyone healthy for next week. I'll be in Oklahoma City until Thursday, unless can get wife to agree to hold over another two days and try to snag some ducats in Norman. Go Bucks.

They are going to score 70. Then the media will hop all over it and start comparing it to the 96 squad. At which point talking heads will try to convince us that the scUM game will be the best game in the history of The Rivalry!!!!! Of course this will make some people nervous. Not to worry though, we have a coach who gets it.
