Game Thread Ohio State vs UNLV, 09/23/17 @ 12:00 ET (BTN)

209 Yards is the most prolific passing day in Ohio State history. I'm pretty sure that even one or two of Woody's cloud of dust teams managed that.

You didn't read the article in the link......

Seven different Ohio State receivers caught touchdown passes and the Buckeyes threw for a school-record 474 yards as they rolled to a 54-21 victory over UNLV on a hot September afternoon in Ohio Stadium.

OHIO STATE'S 54-21 WIN OVER UNLV IN GIFS

The Ohio State defensive line would get pressure all afternoon, finishing with 13 tackles for loss, the most for the program since matching that number against Michigan in 2008. Here's Tyquan Lewis and Malik Harrison teaming up to sack UNLV quarterback Armani Rogers on the Rebels' first possession of the game.

The Buckeyes wasted no time getting on the board on their first possesion. After an 8-yard J.K. Dobbins run, J.T. Barrett found Parris Campbell on a swing pass and Campbell promptly housed it 69 yards to put Ohio State up 7-0.

The past two weeks the WRs definitely seem to have stepped their games up. I'm really excited to see Mack play well because he has the tools to be a great one if he continues to progress.

As UFM said, now we just need to do it against some better teams.

We have three games and a bye week. It's a long way to go. But hey I only mentioned it a couple times yesterday.
forgot about Nebraska for some reason... so yeah 3 more games.

Nebraska will be a very good opponent just before PSU. They're at least prideful enough that they'll probably show and give us some fire early. It'll be a great opportunity for our defense to step up and lock someone down (which should be very simple to do) and importantly it'll be a big enough stage for JT and the offense to get some really good work done.

These next two games will be silly but I look at Nebraska as a game where we can put it to them 45-0 or something like that and go into the bye really focused on PSU.
